Do I need a referral to see a practitioner?

No, you don’t need a referral to see any practitioners at Kilmore Wellness Centre. All you need to do is call and make an appointment or book online.

What do I have to do for my first appointment?

We ask that you arrive 10 minutes earlier for your first appointment to fill in some paper work about yourself.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Loose comfortable clothing is ideal to wear to your appointment. Some appointments may require a few layers of clothing to be removed.

Should I bring my ultrasounds and x-rays with me?

Yes, please bring with you anything relevant to your complaint like x-rays, ultrasounds, CT, MRI scans and reports.

Do you have EFTPOS?

Yes we have eftpos facilities onsite at all our clinics.

Can I claim private health insurance?

We have HICAPS facilitles available at our clinics, so if you have ‘extras’ cover with your private health insurance we can claim on the spot. All you have to do is pay the remaining gap.
Here are some of the many health insurance companies that we deal with:

Care plans from your doctor - Medicare Rebates

An EPC is a doctor’s referral form that funds up to 5 visits in a calendar year across the services of Physiotherapy, Osteopathy Chiropractic, Podiatry, and Exercise Physiology. It is provided for patients with chronic, ongoing pain and conditions.
We no longer bulk bill for these services with the exception fo Chiropractic. Full-service payment is required, and then you will be rebated $56 back from Medicare.
Do you treat Workcover, DVA, NDIS, TAC?

Absolutely and more!

Please note:
DVA: A doctors referral is required for your first visit and then every 12 visits a new referral will be requested. No out of pocket fee.

• Workcover: After your employer has paid the gap required, we can then provide you will full costs covered by Workcover. All we need is your Claim number, case manager and we can organise this all for you.
Let us know if you are covered by any other third party and we can liaise directly with them for your payment.

Are there any concession rates available?

If you are a student or a pensioner we can offer you a discount on your consultation.

Do I have to pay on the day of appointment?

Yes, we ask that your payment is settled on the day of your treatment.

What happens if you are late for your appointment?

If you are more than 10 minutes we will ask that you reschedule your appointment. Be aware that the time late will be deducted from your allocated appointment time.

What is your cancellation policy?

A  cancellation fee of $50 will apply to any appointments missed or cancelled within 12 hours of a scheduled appointment.

Cancellation fees are not subject to any rebate from Medicare, Private Health Fund, DVA or third party payer.
