Myotherapy is the assessment, treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions that may cause muscular dysfunction and pain affecting movement and mobility. Myotherapists use a range of treatment techniques to restore and maintain the normal integrity of the soft tissue structures such as muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. They commonly use massage, dry needling, cupping, joint mobilisation, heat/ice, corrective exercise, stretching and strengthening to treat patients.
